ARF Dashnaktsutyun Eastern States Central Committee Representative, one of the authors of Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) George Aghjayan made a speech during the protest demonstration and said that they are expecting Turkey to recognize the "truth" about so called Armenian genocide since 90 years.

Reacting to the protocols between Turkey and Armenia towards 'establishment of diplomatic relations' and 'development of bilateral ties', Aghjiyan said that realization of protocols would be a disaster for independency of Armenian policy. Stressing that Armenia should not make back steps on its policy about so called Armenian genocide, he stated that Armenia should be following its independent policy instead of following the track that protocols draw.

Protesters unfruled Greek flags

Another interesting point of the demonstrations was unfurling of Greek flags and flags that show Cyprus as a Greek island. Protesters carried banners like, "Who is Guilty? Turkey!", "Armenian united, will never be defeated", "No history commission", "Say no to the Protocol", "Armenian History Not For Sale", "Recognition of Independent Artsakh (Karabakh)", "Diaspora is the Result of Genocide", "Genocide is not Negotiable" and "One Nation, One Struggle".
