ErdoÄŸan Says Talks About Regional Issues With Obama

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Sunday his brief meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama discussed problems and recent developments in Turkey's region.
"The agenda of our meeting was on recent developments in our region including Iraq, Syria and the Middle East as well as steps we have been taking on relations between Turkey and Armenia," Erdogan told reporters upon his return from the U.S. where he participated in the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly.
Erdogan said situation in Afghanistan was also taken up during the 15-minute meeting with Obama, adding that Turkish task force was set to take over command in Kabul in November.
